Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs in the One Direction band. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools, created a band named White Eskimo along with three other students. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. He always showed an interest in music, but he wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. As a worker in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles managed to feed his family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they formed in 2010. The group performed hits like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the contenders for the award. However, they finished third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell did pay two million dollars for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
