Meagan and Kara

Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager when she was in her teens. The acting career of Meagan Good began around age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. In the beginning of her career, she was an extra for TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. When she was 13 in 1995, she was cast in her debut film Friday. She first gained attention for her character as the troubled teen Cisely Batiste in Eve's Bayou in 1997 for where she won two awards nominations. One of them was her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good had minor roles in films and on television for a couple of years before shifting into roles that were more mature at the start of the decade. The actress starred in the role of Nina on Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. show that ran from 1998 until 2001. In addition, she had small role in the films House Party, Down to the Very Last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She also appeared in 2003 as she portrayed Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was nominated as Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards, 2005. The following years, she starred in many films including You Got served The Cookout Venom one miss call at Waistdeep as well as The Love Guru. In 2012 she kept her busy on T.V. As well as in movies, she played Mya and her character Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man with the entire cast as well as Dysfunctional The Friend, which featured a tiny group. Killmer, who is from Texas originally, attended Baylor University Waco Texas. From there she graduated with an undergraduate degree. In 2010, she received a degree in performing art. She started her acting career in 2010, when she appeared in Simon Fuller's webseries,"If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had appeared in a number of local productions before making her screen debut in 2010, made it on Simon Fuller's Hulu show If I Can Dream. The show was centered around a group who began living at the posh location of Hollywood California.
