Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the anchor for Ana Polo Rules. Ana was was raised in Cuba's Havana. Then she moved to Miami along with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of the well-known Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish programming to be nominated for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and in 2015 ranked as the most popular Spanish-language programming at 4pm across important demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated the Florida International University's Political sciences program, she made the move to Havana where she stayed for 20 years. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo's legal knowledge was used in other court shows and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001 in addition to the television show Sala de Parejas. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In 1958, Polo published her novel Los Hijos Muertos. It won both the Critic's Prize for Literature and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo is a survivor of breast cancer and frequently gives speeches in order to raise funds. In her long professional career, she's fought for LGBT equality. She earned her degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987, and is an active member of the Florida Bar.
